Caricature exhibition on different aspects related to the European Union...

The works of the most famous caricaturists from the 10 countries which joined the EU in 2004 will be presented to the public.

The exhibition is called “10 more for Europe” and it is treating different aspects of the European integration in a humorous way. The idea of such an exhibition belongs to jurnalist Dieter Burkamp and to art critic Gisela Burkamp because “the East-european humour dominates the Western-european caricature salons and the East-european artists win a lot of prices”. The exhibition has also been presented in Poland and Germany as well as in Timisoara, in November 2006.

You can visit the exhibition starting from Tuesday, 6th of March, 2PM at Art Caf??. The official opening will take place on the 5th of March at 7PM.
 

Fell free to also visit the personal gallery of Robert Cobuz, a Romanian artist form Botosani, still young, but very talented. You can admire his paintings until the 23rd of March.

Copsa Mare / Großkopisch
Großkopisch, eine freie Gemeinde auf dem Königsboden, besaß die ausgedehntesten Rebenhänge im Weinland. Anfang des 14. Jh. fand hier der Gottesdienst in einer dreischiffigen gotischen Basilika statt. Ein Dokument aus dem Jahr 1283 berichtet sogar von einer älteren Basilika an diesem Ort.
